Answer:

425 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

If it travels for a longer time, it will cover more miles.

You can therefore treat this as direct proportion without having to find the actual speed of the train. It is enough to know that it will travel at the same speed.

255/3 = x/5

85 = x/5

x = 425

abruzzese [7]

Answer:

only red = 1/12, only water proof = 1/12 , only cool = nil we assume nil for toys with three collections( cool, red, waterproof) as it was not stated.

11/6 are neither red, water proof and cool.

Step-by-step explanation:

outside the circles contain probability of neither red, cool and water proof. where the circles intersect shows probability of both either red and cool, water proof and cool and water proof and red etc. where all the circles intersect if for the three combinations which is nill. if a rectangle has an area of 30 square meters and a perimeter of 34 meters . what is the dimensions of the rectangle?
timama [110]
P=2(L+W)  and P=34 so

2(L+W)=34

L+W=17 so we can say

L=17-W

A=LW using L from above

A=(17-W)W

A=17W-W^2 and A=30 so

30=17W-W^2

W^2-17W+30=0

W^2-2W-15W+30=0

W(W-2)-15(W-2)=0

(W-15)(W-2)=0

So the dimensions of the rectangle are 15 meters by 2 meters.

the sum of three numbers is 128.The third number is 10 more than the first .The second number 4 times the third number. what are
Ray Of Light [21]
128 = a + + 4(a + 10) + (a + 10)
128 = a + 4a + 40 + a + 10
128 = 6a + 50
128-50 = 6a
78 = 6a
13 = a

1st = a = 13
2nd = 4(a + 10) = 4(23) = 92
3rd = a + 10 = 23
