Answer:  Correct order:

Food enters the mouth where teeth and saliva begin digesting

1.   Food is swallowed and travels down the esophagus due to muscle contractions called peristalsis.

2.  food goes through the pharynx, which is the junction between the digestive and respiratory systems.

3.  Then food arrives in the stomach where it is digested further and becomes a thick liquid called chyme.

4.  The next step is the small intestines where the food goes through more digestion and absorption into the blood stream occurs

5.  The next step is the large intestines where water is absorbed and remaining waste continues through

6.  The next step is the rectum where waste and water are compacted into a solid form known as feces

Lastly, feces is removed from the body through a muscular organ called the anus.

Explanation:

I think we can all agree that first food is in our mouth, we chew, swallow, food travels down the esophagus through the pharynx and lands in the stomach. From digestion in the stomach, to the small intestines, then large intestines, then turns to waste then travels down the system to elimination through the rectum and out the anus.
