Lack of good governance tend to lead to a lot of people holding important positions without having the proper capabilities. This will caused a lot of resources in the country to be mismanaged and the country is prevented from reaching its full potential/

<u>- Corruption</u>

Lack of good governance will also provide a lot of opportunities for officials to steal from the citizens rather than working to improve their general welfares.

<u>- Animosity between social groups</u>

One thing that incompetent government often do is blaming some segment of the population for the mistake that they make. This will make the other social group to develop some sort of animosity toward that group.
