Answer:

251.33in²

Step-by-step explanation:

A cylindrical container contains some sand. If the diameter of the container is 10 inches and its height is 3 inches, about how much sand fits inside the container?

We solve the above question using the formula for Total surface area of a cylinder.

TSA = 2πr (h + r) Square units.

Where

h = Height of the cylinder

r = Radius of the cylinder

Diameter of the container is 10 inches

Hence, radius = Diameter/2 = 10/2 = 5 inches

Height is 3 inches.

Hence, Total surface area =

2 × π × 5 (5 + 3)

= 10π × (8)

= 251.32741229 in²

Approximately = 251.33 in²

Therefore, the amount of sand that can fit into the cylinder = 251.33 in²

Answer:

45

Step-by-step explanation:

because its a right angled triangle which should be 90 degrees so 90-45=45 so AC is 45 and AB is 45 so the triangle ACB is  90

find the equation of the line that passes through P(7,20) and Q the midpoint of R (-3,5) and S (5,11)
sergejj [24]
First we have to find midpoint of R and S.
We can use formula such for it.Qx= \frac{Rx+Sx}{2} and Qy= \frac{Ry+Sy}{2}.
We obtained coordinates of point Q
Qx= \frac{-3+5}{2}=1 and Qy= \frac{5+11}{2}=8

Now, we can find the line equation using formula y=ax+b.
We can substitute coordinates of P and Q to this formula and solving system of equation get the answer.

After substituting we obtaind such system
\left \{ {{20=7a+b } \atop {8=a+b}} \right.

From the system of equation we obtain result
\left \{ {{a=2} \atop {b=6}} \right.

Now we can put our resuts to general line equation.
y=2x+6
