<h3>Answer:    -49k - 10</h3>

==================================================

Work Shown:

7(-2-7k) + 4

7(-2) + 7(-7k) + 4

-14 - 49k + 4

-49k + (-14+4)

-49k - 10

In the second step, I distributed the outer 7 to each term inside. From there, I grouped and combined like terms, which were the -14 and 4.

31. It gives you the equation f(x) = -2x + 4 and asks you to solve for f(12). To solve this you must replace x in the equation -2x + 4 with 12 like so:

-2(12) + 4

Remember that when solving this use your rules of PEMDAS. In this case you will first multiply -2 and 12 then add the product with 4

-24 + 4

f(12) = -20

33. Replace x in the equation x³ - x with 5 like so...

5³ - 5

Again, remember to use the rules of PEMDAS to solve this. First take the cube of 5 then subtract 5 from the answer

125 - 5

g(5) = 120

Hope this helped!
