Answer:

hope it works for u

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the length of the rectangle = l

the breadth of the rectangle = b

perimeter of the rectangle = sum of length of all sides of the rectangle

                                             = l+ b+ l+ b

                                             =2 l+2 b

                                             =2( l+ b)

∴ perimeter of the rectangle =2( l+ b)

as given perimeter = 1004 m

hence ,

2(l+ b)= 1004

(l+ b)=1004/2  = 502 m

l+ b=502 m

A triangle has sides represented by 7, x, and x−1. If the perimeter is 28, find the length of the longest side.
aleksley [76]

Answer:

x (11 unit) is the longest side

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Sides;

7, x, and x−1

Perimeter = 28

Find:

Longest side

Computation:

Perimeter = sum of all sides

So,

7 + x + (x -1) = 28

2x + 6 = 28

x = 11

So,

x -1 = 11 - 1 = 10 unit

x (11 unit) is the longest side
