if you have a triangle and don't know where are the base and the high use this formula

area = 0.5 × side  × side  × sin the angle between the 2 sides

area = o.5 (32.4) (49.2) (sin 18.5)

         = 797.04 × sin 18.5

          =252.9

Given: ΔPSQ, PS = SQ Perimeter of ΔPSQ = 50 SQ – PQ = 1 Find: Area of ΔPSQ
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

  120 units²

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter = PS + SQ + PQ

50 = SQ + SQ + (SQ -1)

51 = 3SQ

17 = SQ

17 -1 = 16 = PQ

The midpoint of the base is one leg of the right triangle whose other leg is the height of this isosceles triangle. That height is ...

  h = √(17² -(16/2)²) = √225 = 15

Then the area is ...

  A = (1/2)bh = (1/2)(16)(15) = 120 . . . . . square units

I DONT WANT HOW TO DO IT JUST THE ANSWER THANKS
posledela

Answer:

  1. After a 90% increase, there is 2,280
  2. After a 55% increase, there is 2015
  3. After a 58% decrease, there is 588

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume the original figures are x.

After a 90% increase, there is 2,280:

x * (1 + 90%) = 2,280

1.9x = 2,280

x = 2,280 / 1.9

= 1,200

After a 58% decrease, there is 588:

x * (1 - 58%) = 588

0.42x = 588

x = 588/0.42

x = 1,400

After a 55% increase, there is 2,015:

x * (1 + 55%) = 2,015

1.55x = 2,015

x = 2,015/1.55

x= 1,300

Order:

1,200 ⇒ 1,300 ⇒ 1,400
