Hello there!

I think ATP would be the answer in this instance. See, ATP is the pure form of energy that cells prefer to use. Sugars and fats are good for energy, too - but sugars and fats must be converted into energy <em>before</em> use. So ATP is the only energy source listed that doesn't need to be metabolized before the cell can use the energy.

I hope this helps!!

Why would mitochondria in heart muscle cells have more cristae than mitochondria in skin cells?
anyanavicka [17]

Answer:

The structure of mitochondria contains the foldings in the inner side called "cristae" which increase the surface area of the mitochondria. The cristae are important to mitochondria as well as cell as cristae embody the ATP synthase enzymes which help in the formation of the ATP molecules.

Heart cells require more energy to pump the blood from the heart to the body so it needs a more mitochondrial number in the cells with more infoldings to synthesize more ATP.

A relation is a special type of function true or false
OLEGan [10]
I would say false. All functions are relations but not all relations can be functions. This is because a relation is simply a set or ordered pairs and can have more than one solution sometimes. Therefore is not always a function. A great example is a hyperbola or even simply a circle.

<h3>What is adapted structure?</h3>

Thick, hardened beetle wings, called elytra, cover the whole body and it has covered whole body of beetles. The adaptive features are inherited from their ancestor's gene pool.
