Evaluate and simplify the expression when c=1 and d=3
alekssr [168]

Answer:

The answer is 32

Step-by-step explanation:

3( 2c + d) - 4( c - d) + d²

when c = 1 and d = 3

Substitute the values of c and d into the above expression and solve

We have

3 [ 2(1) + 3 ] - 4 ( 1 - 3) + 3²

Solve the terms in the bracket first

➢ 3( 2 + 3) - 4( - 2) + 9

➢ 3( 5) + 8 + 9

Simplify

➢ 15 + 8 + 9

➢ 15 + 17

We have the final answer as

32

Hope this helps you

Please, post only one question at a time.

The line passing through (1,4) and (-4,-1) has the following slope:

          -1 - 4 -5
m = ------------ = -------- = +1
          -4 - 1 -5

Find the slope of the line passing thru the other set of points. Graph both lines. What do you see? Do the 2 lines have any particular relationship to one another?

If no digit can be used more than once in a number, how many 2 digits numbers can be formed using only the digits 7, 1, 3, and 9
joja [24]
Hey there!

What I would do to solve this problem is list out all four of the numbers, then place the other three numbers behind it, like so:

71
73
79
17
13
19
37
31
39
97
91
93

These are all of your possible combinations without any repeats. There's a total of 12 possible combos.

Hope this helped you out! :-)
