Answer:

          x + 3y = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line which passes through (x₁, y₁) and with slope of m in point-slope form:

                                y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

m = -¹/₃

(1, 2)    ⇒   x₁ = 1,  y₁ = 2

Therefore, the equation of the line which passes through (1, 2) and with slope of −1/3 in point-slope form:

y - 2 = -¹/₃(x - 1)

y - 2 = -¹/₃x + ¹/₃                     {add ¹/₃x to both sides}

¹/₃x + y - 2 = ¹/₃                     {add 2 to both sides}

¹/₃x + y = 2¹/₃                       {multiply both sides by 3}

x + 3y = 7

1) B=Bikers H=Hikers

H=B+178 (178 MORE HIKERS THAN BIKERS)

B+H=676 (TOTAL EQUATION)

COMBINE EQUATIONS (Plug in H from first equation into second one)
  B + B +178 = 676
SOLVE FOR B
2B=498
B=249 Total Bikers

Now for Hikers go back to the first equation we made

H= B+178.... Plug in B =249 and get

H=427

2) Children =C AND Adult =A

C+A=764  .............. C=764-A

2C+5A=2992

COMBINE EQUATIONS

2(764-A)+5A=2992

You can solve for A.
A=488

Now c GO BACK TO FIRST EQAUTION
C+A=764 and solve for C.

C=276

telo118 [61]
The correct answer is choice A. Even though choice B is a correct statement, it is not the best measure of center because neither box plot shows symetric data. Because of this, the IQR is the best measure of center.

2. 15.7 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Circumference = π X Diameter

Diameter for blue circle = 10 cm

Circumference = 31.4159265 = 31.4 cm

Diameter for orange circle = 5 cm

Circumference = 15.7079633 = 15.7 cm

List the names and measures for pairs of same-side interior angles. Then find the sum of the measures for each pair. What is the
SpyIntel [72]

Answer: The two pairs of same-side interior angles are CHG and HGA and DHG and HGB.

mCHG = 48.81°, and m HGA = 131.19°.

mDHG = 131.19°, and m HGB = 48.81°.

mCHG + mHGA = 180°

mDHG + mHGB = 180°

Each pair of same-side interior angles is supplementary.
