"Select the correct arrows" There is more than one answer.

According to the rock cycle, Igneous to Sedimentary and Metamorphic to Sedimentary are both weathering/erosion.

While Igneous to Metamorphic and Sedimentary to Metamorphic are both heat/pressure.

Also Metamorphic to Igneous and Sedimentary to Igneous are both melting.

What is the component concentration ratio, [no2−]/[hno2], of a buffer that has a ph of 3.90? (ka of hno2 = 7.1 × 10−4)?
sasho [114]
According to Henderson–Hasselbalch Equation,

                                    pH = pKa + log [Nitrate] / [Nitric Acid]

As,      Ka of Nitric Acid  =  7.1 × 10⁻⁴
So,
           pKa  =  -log [ 7.1 × 10⁻⁴ ]

           pKa  =  3.148

So, pH = 3.148 + log [Nitrate] / [Nitric Acid]

                                  3.90  =  3.148 + log [Nitrate] / [Nitric Acid]

                      3.90 - 3.148  = log [Nitrate] / [Nitric Acid]

                                0.752  =  log [Nitrate] / [Nitric Acid]

Taking Antilog on both sides,

                                  [Nitrate] / [Nitric Acid]  =  5.64

What is laughing gas?
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas or nitrous, is a chemical compound, an oxide of nitrogen with the formula N ₂O. At room temperature, it is a colourless non-flammable gas, with a slight metallic scent and taste. At elevated temperatures, nitrous oxide is a powerful oxidiser similar to molecular oxygen.
