What is the force that acts through the distance?

Answer: Out of all the options shown above the one that represents the force that acts through the distance is answer choice C) friction. The reason being that it is the resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another. For example a car moving along a road.

I hope it helps, Regards.

The force that acts through the distance is  : C. Friction

for example, let's say you drag a table on top of a hard surface, it will create a friction with forces that oppose the direction of your movement between the table and the surface

hope this helps

A box of books weighing 290 N is shoved across the floor of an apartment by a force of 400 N exerted downward at an angle of 34.
NARA [144]

Answer: 1.95s

Explanation:

Given

ma = 290 cos 34.9 - fk

fk = 290 cos 34.9 - ma

fn = mg + 400 sin Φ

fn = 290 + 400 sin 34.9

fn = 290 + 228.9

fn = 518.9

fk = fn * uk

uk = 0.57

290 cos 34.9 - ma = 518.9 * 0.57

290 cos 34.9 - ma = 295.8

290 cos 34.9 - 295.8 = ma

ma = -58

m = 290/10 = 29

a = 58/29

a = 2

Using equation of motion

S = ut + .5at²

3.8 = 0 + .5*2*t²

3.8 = t²

t = 1.95s

A rocket ship in space is at rest relative to a rock floating in deep space. The
Lesechka [4]
So the equation used in this problem is ΔX=V0*T+1/2AT^2 the X is the distance, v0 is initial velocity, T is time, and a is acceleration. So when we plug these values it we get: 108= 0•T+1/2•3•T^2,the 0•t disappears, and the 1/2•3 gets us 1.5, so we have 108=1.5T^2, then we divide 108 by 1.5 which gets us 72=t^2, and we then take the square root and get 8.49=T so the answer is 8.49 seconds.

HOW DOES A GRAPH HELP YOU SEE ANOMALOUS DATA?
Ghella [55]

Answer:

Anomalies consist of one or more modifications, insertions or deletions. As was described in Section 3.1, there are only three types of changes that can be made to a graph. Therefore, anomalies that consist of structural changes to a graph must consist of one of these types. Assumption 4.
