Answer:

Friction stops things from sliding apart. If there was no friction everything would slide to the lowest point. It would be impossible to climb up anything. Imagine trying to climb a wall of ice without crampons and an ice pick. It would be impossible. From the human perspective, it would be impossible to stand up or even move. Simply crawling requires a force to make you move. That is provided by friction. With no friction, the only possible movement would be falling to a lower point under gravity.

Answer:

1. We cannot walk .

2. We will not get a grip to hold things, then we cannot eat,write,Hold pen or pencil etc.

3. Moving things cannot be stopped.

4.Buildings cannot be constructed.

5. We cannot fix a nail to the wall.

6.We cannot stand properly without a grip.

7.we would keep slipping.

8.Nothing will be steady on ground. , things will not be at a proper places because of no grip.

9.Brakes in the car / vehicles will be useless.

10. Finally all the things, including us will be floating in the air.

A car accelerates from rest at 5 m/sec2 for 12 seconds what is the final velocity
VladimirAG [237]

 Vi =0  ( as car starts from rest )

Acceleration= a = 5m/s²

t =12sec

Vf =Vi + at

Vf= 0 + (5m/s²) (12s)

Vf=60 m/s

What is the velocity of the car, in meters per second, just after it hits a 135-kg deer initially running at 10.5 m/s in the sam
Gnom [1K]

Answer:

V = 27.46 m/s

Explanation:

given,

mass of the deer(m) = 135 Kg

speed of the deer (u) = 10.5 m/s

assuming,

mass of the car(M) = 900 Kg

initial velocity of car (v) = 30 m/s

using conservation of momentum

m u + M v = (M + m )V

V is the velocity of the car as deer is on the car

135 x 10.5 + 900 x 30 = (900 + 135 ) V

28417.5 = 1035 V

V = 27.46 m/s

so, the velocity of car is equal to V = 27.46 m/s

The atomic mass of an element whose atoms consist of seven protons, eight neutrons, and seven electrons is _____?
vodomira [7]
The atomic mass is C. 15

Atomic mass = P + N = 7+8 = 15

The atomic mass of an element is defined as the sum of the protons and neutrons. On the other hand, the atomic number of a neutral element is equivalent to the number of protons or electrons. This is because a neutral element should have equal number of protons and electrons.

3. Imagine a 10kg block moving with a speed of 20m/s<br> calculate the kinetic energy of this block
MatroZZZ [7]
The formula of the kinetic energy is:
E_{k}  =  \frac{m v^{2} }{2}
where m is a mass of the object, v is speed of the object at the moment of time. So we have:
E_{k}  =  \frac{10* 20^{2} }{2}  = 2000J
The answer is 2000 Joules.
