Hence, number of moles of Na₂CO₃.10 H₂O present in one litre (equal to 1000 cm³) of solution is \frac{0.0199 X 1000}{250} = 0.0796 moles. So, the molarity of the solution is 0.0796 mol/dm³ ≅ 0.08 mol/dm³

So, by substitution:

6.8 x 10^-4 = X^2 / (0.35 - X) by solving for X

∴ X = 0.015 M

∴[H+] = X = 0.015

when PH = -㏒[H+]
