Three signs a driver could be potentially impaired is swerving on the road, driving slower than “normal” speed limit, and driving outside of the lines (when not changing lanes).

A strategy to keep yourself safe from impaired drivers could be to keep a safe distance from drivers nearby that are exhibiting erratic or potentially dangerous driving behavior.

A queueing system has four crews with three members each. The number of "servers" is:
pentagon [3]

Answer:

The answer is 4.

The number of active servers is four for this four crew queuing system.

Explanation:

 Now what is a queue management system?

As from the name it has some link with queue which means it’s not something used once or twice.

It is a continuous process. In simple words, the number of processes increases and the severs get short and congested on this type of problem this management occurs.

It is always there to solve the problem of congestion the system.

Queuing management is concerned with queuing areas. Where there will a queue this system will be applied. And this queuing system is based on queuing theory.

<u>Now what means by queuing areas? </u>

It’s a place where queues happen.

<u> But what exactly is a queue? </u>

You could say it’s a line of something waiting for services or you can also say it as an application of “demands exceed the supply” problem.

Now consider queuing system where the number of active servers depends upon the the length of the queue.

As the length of the queue increases the number of active servers will increase and if the length of the queue decreases the number of active servers decreases.

On traditional scale the queuing theory, the theory on which this queuing system is based, there are fixed number of servers for each model as 10,25 or 19 servers.

Now if we see there is a queuing system has four crews with 3 members each.

Each crew will have its own one single active server so, there will be 4 active servers in this queuing system.

I have to write this in Java, but i've never even learned it before and i'm completely lost
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

private void printArray(int[] arr){   //0

  System.out.print("[");   //1

  for(int k : arr){   //2

     System.out.print(k + ", ");   //3

  }

  System.out.println("]");   //4

}

Explanation:

This method should get you started. Your teacher may want a different format or a different type of loop. If you haven't learned for loops yet don't use them that'd be suspicious ;)

What I did:

0: This is the method heading with one parameter for the 1D array. If you need to access it in a different class change private to public.

1: This prints the [ with no line break

2: This is an enhanced for loop to iterate through each element in a 1D array. Alternatively, a normal for loop looks like this:

for (int i = 0; i < arr.length; i++)

instead of retrieving the variable with the enhanced for, you'd have to use arr[i] instead of k in this scenario.

3: This prints the value in each pass of the loop along with a comma and a space.

4: This adds the ] with a line break when the loop is completed

Hope this helps you get started :D comment if you need further help
