Starting with the ovaries ,it produces and release eggs into the Fallopian tubes where it waiting to make its way to the sperm , if the eggs are not fertilized by the sperm , the lining of the uterus that is there to prepare itself for a fertilized egg will shed (due to lack of pregnancy  ) causing menstruation.
