Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Yes, there has been no declared war since World War II, yet the US has been almost constantly engaged in military action because United States want to control the whole world and main his supremacy. So for that reason, United States is constantly engaged in military actions which cost them a lot on the economy. Congress “authorizing the President to use force” means to use the force for defending its own interests while declaring war is a full fledged war against country or community. President bears more responsibility in each case because he is the head of the country. Declaring war needs more resources and money for the war and soldiers which greatly effect the economy of the country while using force for a particular mission does not need more resources and money so using force is better than declaring war.

How successful was the Great Leap Forward?
Fantom [35]

The Great Leap Forward was a successful plan in the starting where it worked towards enhancing the industrial and agricultural production in the country of China but ended up in many failures.

Who was Mao Zedong?

Mao Zedong became the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party in the year 1949 after founding the People's Republic of China.

The Great Leap Forward was a plan started by Mao Zedong for increasing production in industrial and agricultural areas. Due to the massive increase, the country's economy was affected a lot which led to the deaths of many people in China because of starvation and famine. About thirty to forty-five million people died to the overpressure of production increase.

Therefore, the plan of the great leap forward was given a good success at the start but later it hinders the Chinese economy a lot.

What were at least 3 things the Council of Trent determined should be changed?
svlad2 [7]

I would list these three things:

 • Simony was condemned.
 • Indulgences were no longer to be sold.
 • Clergy were to become better educated.

Detail/context:

The Council of Trent, held over a span of years from 1545 to 1563, served to reform some abuses that were acknowledged by the Catholic Church. Mostly, though, the Council aimed to assert the full authority of Roman power and doctrine over the Protestant threat.

 • Simony was the practice of buying and selling church offices. The Council of Trent condemned such practices, which had been widely abused in the church and criticized by reformers.
 • As for indulgences, the underlying principle of indulgences was upheld -- that the church had authority to grant reprieve to penance or time in purgatory. But the sale of indulgences was stopped. The church recognized that the selling of indulgences had been an abuse and determined to end that practice.
 • As for clergy education, seminaries were established and the Roman Catechism, also known as the Catechism of the Council of Trent, was commissioned by the Council and was published in 1566,. The intention of these actions was thoroughly to improve the education of the church's clergy.
