Answer:

An example would be

(x+3)-(y+12)

The two constants are 3 and 12 (I'm assuming you meant "constant" as in the number that stands by itself and not "constatant" lol)

The two variables are x and y

The two operations are addition and subtraction

In words you could say "the quantity of x plus three minus the quantity of y plus twelve"

Put 4y= -3x - 8 into slope intercept form.
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

y = -3/4x -2

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope intercept is y = mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

4y = -3x-8

Divide each side by 4

4y/4 = -3x/4 -8/4

y = -3/4x -2

the difference between 2 whole numbers is 66. the ratio of the 2 numbers is 2:5, what are the 2 numbers
shtirl [24]

Answer:

44 and 110

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of the 2 numbers = 2 : 5 = 2x : 5x ( x is a multiplier ) , thus

difference = 5x - 2x = 3x , then

3x = 66 ( divide both sides by 3 )

x = 22

Thus

2x = 2 × 22 = 44

5x = 5 × 22 = 110

The 2 numbers are 44 and 110

kykrilka [37]

Answer:

\frac{1}{5} probability

Step-by-step explanation:

P(Sold Out)= \frac{4}{20}

\frac{4}{20} =\frac{1}{5}

So since the experimental probability is the number of times an event occurs out of the total number of trials...

The answer to "what is the experimental probability that the band's  next show will be sold out?" Is \frac{1}{5}!!!

Hope this helped you!

Have a nice evening!
