This depends on the person, as people have different needs and athletes need more calories then normal scholars. The average is about 1,600-2,100. But again it depends on the person, for example I can only eat about 1,500 calories a day, despite the fact I'm an athlete, my friend however can eat about 2,500. Well im not sure if this is the right answer to ur question but
To have a balenced diet you should have fiber and minerals, vitamins, fats, protines, carbohhydrates, and also water.
Two other things i know are good for you are:
Bluebarries they are rich in fiber, vitamins A and C they also boost up ur cardiovascular health
Beans are also great because they provide protein, fiber, and they are low in calories and free of saturated fat
