stealth61 [152]

Answer:

On a brushed style generator, the increase in AC voltage from the slip rings is fed to the automatic voltage regulator, converted to DC voltage and fed into the rotor.

Explanation:

In an AC electrical generator, in order to maintain a fixed output, the output voltage  is taken from the slip rings to the brushes (some generators don't have brushes) and converted to DC voltage (since it is an AC generator) and fed back to the rotor.

The rotor winding rotate inside a stationary magnetic field known as stater which induces electrical current in the winding. These winding are connected to slip rings which transfers the current to the outside circuit.

A compact car has a maximum acceleration of 2.0 m/s2 when it carries only the driver and has a total mass of 1100 kg . you may w
nadya68 [22]

According to Newton`s  law. Force exerted by car,

F = m a = 1100 kg \times 2 m/s^2 = 2200 \ N

After adding an additional 400 kg of mass, the force will be same therefore the acceleration

F = 2200 \ N = (1100 \ kg + 400 \ kg)  a \\\\ a = \frac{2200 \ N}{1500 \ kg} = 1.47 \ m/s^2

Thus, the acceleration after adding the masses is 1.47 \ m/s^2.

Why does a fast working machine possess more power? Clarify your answer<br>Plz help by answering
BARSIC [14]
A chemical reaction increases in speed with the increase in temperature, hard to call that “power” but there's an increase in entropy in the system, far from its equilibrium point molecules start vibrating and colliding more within the system they're in, thus causing the chemical reaction to speed up.
This is a very different answer ....
Hope this helps you....
