Explanation:
Goal -- to end DIABETES, HEART DISEASE and OBESITY
What factors contribute to these health problems?
Some of the main factors that contribute to the mentioned diseases is poor quality of living. Such as, non-existent exercising, poor nutrition, smoking, drinking alcohol and environmental factors. There are also numerous other factors, like: high blood pressure, genetic factors, too high blood sugar, race, age, weight, etc. We can change some of them while some of them are fixed. Yet, something is better than nothing.
What specific steps will you take to overcome them?
In order to overcome those possible risk factors, one should take care better of their health. Stress is one of the triggers. I do agree that it's 21st century and that everybody is leading a stressful life, both at home and at work. It should be limited with help of meditation, yoga or tai-chi. One should take care of their nutrition too. Five, balanced meals in a day is something that is crucial in order to fight against numerous CVDs. Physical activity should be performed at least 2 times a week.
What obstacles do you foresee while trying to institute the new policy?
Some of the people simply won't change. They like the way they're living their life. They like to indulge themselves in fast food, tobacco, alcohol, dr*gs and other lethal substances. On the other hand, awareness should be risen up to the highest level with the help of television, billboards, seminars and other important events that would promote a healthy life style.
