Answer:
mass spectrometry-Components of the samples are compared to known molecular weights.
microcrystalline test-Samples are mixed with reagents and observed under a polarized microscope
spectroscopy-Samples are exposed to UV and IR rays and their absorbance is measured.
Color test-Samples are mixed with specific reagents to produce colors.
Mass spectroscopy employs the technique of measurement of mass to charge ratio in determining the molecular weight
Spectroscopy deals with the relationship between a matter and electromagnetic radiations.
Answer: B. Obliteration
Explanation:
Obliterating an entry from a medical record is to remove all traces of it from the record. This action is generally frowned upon as medical records are considered legal documents.
If entries need to be modified there are set steps on how this can be done such that there will be record that something was altered. Obliterating an entry in a medical record can lead to serious legal problems.
Maintaining hip flexion at 90 degrees or less when sitting is the appropriate instructions in which the nurse should include in the teaching to the individual who just went through total hip arthroplasty.

What is Arthroplasty?

This is a medical procedure which involves remodeling of the joint so as to restore its functions. The damaged joint is usually replaced with an artificial one in this scenario thereby ensuring certain types of movements are restored.
The individual should always maintain a hip flexion at 90 degrees or less when sitting so as to prevent the joint from being stressed which helps maintain its functions. This should also be done to avoid the incidence of the dislocation of the joint.
This is therefore the reason why maintaining a hip flexion at 90 degrees or less is the most appropriate choice.

Well, if it were me I would chose A just because it makes the most logical sense. Cancer cells do tend to spread so keeping the cells contained and not able to travel would definitely increase the chances of successful procedures and eventually (maybe) the complete removal of the cancer cells.
