Grams of Chromium(III) nitrate produced : 268.95 g

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

Given

0.85 moles of Lead(IV) nitrate

Required

grams of Chromium(III) nitrate

Solution

Reaction

Balanced equation :

<em>2Cr₂ + 3Pb(NO₃)₄ ⇒ 4Cr(NO₃)₃ + 3Pb </em>

From the equation, mol ratio of Pb(NO₃)₄  : Cr(NO₃)₃ = 3 : 4, so mol Cr(NO₃)₃

mol Cr(NO₃)₃ =

\tt \dfrac{4}{3}\times 0.85=1.13

Mass of Chromium(III) nitrate (MW=238.0108 g/mol) :

mass = mol x MW

mass = 1.13 x 238.0108

mass = 268.95 g

How many moles of sf6 are there in 459500000000000000 molecules of sf6
Vlada [557]

Answer : The number of moles of SF_6 is, 7.63\times 10^{-7} moles.

Solution :

As we know that,

1 mole contains 6.022\times 10^{23} number of molecules

As, 6.022\times 10^{23} number of molecules of SF_6 are present in 1 mole of SF_6

So, 4595\times 10^{14} number of molecules of SF_6 are present in \frac{4595\times 10^{14}}{6.022\times 10^{23}}=7.63\times 10^{-7} moles of SF_6

Therefore, the number of moles of SF_6 is, 7.63\times 10^{-7} moles.

A fan blade rotates with angular velocity given by ωz(t)= γ − β t2, where γ = 5.20 rad/s and β = 0.810 rad/s3 . calculate the an
Gnesinka [82]

Answer : The angular acceleration is \alpha=-\beta t=-0.810\text{ t}

Solution : Given,

\gamma=5.20rad/s

\beta=0.810rad/s^3

The given angular velocity equation is,

\omega_z(t)=\gamma-\beta t^2

At t = 0,    \omega_z(0)=\gamma

At t = t,      \omega_z(t)=\gamma-\beta t^2

Angular acceleration : It is defined as the rate of change of angular velocity with respect to time.

Formula used for angular acceleration :

\alpha=\frac{\omega_z(t)-\omega_z(0)}{t}

where,

\alpha = angular acceleration

\omega_z(t) = angular velocity at time 't'

\omega_z(0) = angular velocity at time '0'

t = time

Now put all the given values in this formula, we get the angular acceleration.

\alpha=\frac{(\gamma)-(\gamma-\beta t^2)}{t}

\alpha=-\beta t=-0.810\text{ t}

Therefore, the angular acceleration is \alpha=-\beta t=-0.810\text{ t}

A sample of an unknown gas occupies 5.51 L at 1.31 atm. What pressure would thisgas exert in a 0.520 L container if the temperat
Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

13.9atm

Explanation:

Use Boyle's Law: P1V1 = P2V2

Manipulate the equation: P2 = P1V1/V2

Substitute the values: P2 = (1.31atm)(5.51L)/0.520L

P2 = 13.88096atm

Optionally round to 3 sig figs to get 13.9atm
