Explanation:

the reason this mouse shows natural selection is that the black mouses are more adapted to their environment compared to the tan mouses as the tan mouses are more easily spotted and eaten by the bird. since the black mouse is more adapted to it's environment it is more likely to live on and pass it's trait of the black fur color to it's offspring while the tan mouses are not.
