rusak2 [61]

Answer: c. signal amplification

Explanation:

The uncoupling of the G-protein and inhibiting of the signal amplification are the two affects of the pertusis toxin. It is released by the bacteria called Bordetella pertusis. The G-proteins are affected by the action of pertusis toxin. The production to the excess level of cAMP due to the conversion of ATP into cAMP the ribosylation of the ADP molecules occurs due to pertusis toxin. This leads to the damage of G-proteins.

Would the world die off slowly or fastly if she died out?
Nimfa-mama [501]
I’m assuming you mean if the sun dies out. If so, then most things on earth would die within a few days due to lack of photosynthesis and to freezing temperatures (which is what would cause humans to die).

What would most likely happen to plants if they did not have a waxy outer coating?
belka [17]
Plants need this waxy outer coating, also known as a cuticle, for a variety of reasons. The cuticle keeps the important things the plant needs in, such as water and carbon dioxide, and the things the plant doesn't need, such as too much heat, out. It performs a few different functions, including protecting the important cells needed for photosynthesis.
