My brother has Asperger's syndrome, a form of autism, so your best bet would be to B) look for a lack of progress or lost skills that you would want to share with the families, because it is always better to tell the families first so that the may investigate it further, and A) isn't right because communication delay isn't always autism.

padilas [110]

If a patient with symptoms of GERD states that he has been self-treating at home with over-the-counter (otc) ranitidine daily, the next appropriate treatment would be option(b) i.e, Proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole) for 12 weeks.

When stomach acid continually rushes back into the tube between your mouth and stomach, it causes gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) (esophagus). Your esophageal lining may become irritated by this backwash (acid reflux). Many people occasionally have acid reflux.

A digestive disorder is GERD. It is brought on by stomach acid refluxing up into your food pipe (esophagus). The most typical GERD symptom is heartburn. Being overweight, overeating, consuming caffeine and alcohol, as well as eating chocolate and spicy foods, are some lifestyle choices that may contribute to GERD.

Stomach acid is blocked and its production is decreased as a result of the Proton pump inhibitor. This allows for the healing of any damaged esophageal tissue. PPIs can aid in preventing heartburn, which frequently accompanies GERD.
