In young children, some brain cells have a plasticity that enables them to take over the functions of damaged or missing brain cells.

 • Option E is correct as of the meaning of plasticity the quality of being easily shaped or moulded.
 • So according to meaning option E can be filled in the blank.
 • Option A is incorrect which means weak
 • Option B is incorrect which means a story told about past events remembered by the author.
 • Option C means having a very harmful or effect.
 • Option D is out as meaning unusual or strange in a very annoying or funny way.

Hence E is a suitable answer.

What is plasticity explain?

Plasticity, ability of certain solids to flow or to change shape permanently when subjected to stresses of intermediate magnitude between those producing temporary deformation, or elastic behaviour, and those causing failure of the material, or rupture (see yield point).

Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

\sf A . \sf \frac{3}{-7}

\sf E. \sf -( \frac{-3}{-7} )

This above options makes the expression true.

 • The negatives above can be distributed up as well, which happened in A.
 • In E, when the negatives inside the bracket cancels out, the negative outside the brackets multiplies and makes the expression true.
 • In B the expression turns positive, thus false same happens with C and D

Can someone explain how to solve this and the solution? Please and thank you :)
Verizon [17]
25 > 2x + 8 - 66

first simplify all numbers

25 > 2x + (8 - 66)
25 > 2x - 58

Then add 58 to both sides

25 (+58) > 2x - 58 (+58)
83 > 2x

Finally divide 2 from both sides to isolate the x

83/2 > 2x/2

41.5 > x

hope this helps

Determine the constant of variation for the direct variation given. Type a numerical answer in the space provided.
Andreyy89

Answer:

B. 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Determine the constant of variation for the direct variation given.

(0, 0), (3, 12), (9, 36)

A. 3

B. 4

C.12

Direct variation is given by:

y = kx

Where,

k = constant of variation

(3, 12)

x = 3; y = 12

y = kx

12 = k*3

12 = 3k

k = 12 / 3

k = 4

(9, 36)

x = 9; y = 36

y = kx

36 = k * 9

36 = 9k

k = 36 / 9

= 4

k = 4

Constant of the variation = 4
