SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I’m really confused
SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

Were you given a graph or do you have one you can use?

- If you do, all the need to do is plot the points that are shown in the question. -Secondly, You need to join the lines together.

-After that, you need to find the 'middle point' of each line. Eg. If I had a line with 4 spaces in-between it, I would put a point or cross after the 2nd space.

Hope that helped? Sorry if it's too confusing and was useless.

<u><em>In the image the blue shape is the rectangle and the red shape is the rhombus/tilted square.</em></u> (MY DRAWING IS BAD I KNOW DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT) Anyways. I still feel like you need to do it yourself as this was assigned to you so get some paper and draw this graph out. Let me know if you need more help!

The point P= (x,-1/7) lies on the unit circle shown below. What is the value of x in simplest form?
ipn [44]

Answer:

x^2 + \frac{1}{49} =1

And solving for x we got:

x^2 = 1- \frac{1}{49}

x^2 = \frac{48}{49}

And taking square root we got:

x = \sqrt{\frac{48}{49}}= \frac{\sqrt{48}}{7} = \frac{4\sqrt{3}}{7}

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we have the following point given P(x , -1/7)

And we want to find the value of x, since P lies on the unitray circle if we find the distance from P to the center of the unitary circle (0,0) we need to get 1. Using the definition of Euclidean distance that means:

d = \sqrt{(x -0)^2 +(-1/7 -0)^2}=1

And if we square both sides of the last equation we got:

x^2 + \frac{1}{49} =1

And solving for x we got:

x^2 = 1- \frac{1}{49}

x^2 = \frac{48}{49}

And taking square root we got:

x = \sqrt{\frac{48}{49}}= \frac{\sqrt{48}}{7} = \frac{4\sqrt{3}}{7}

Step-by-step explanation:

1.

Choosing the product of power property,when you multiply exponentials with the same base , you add their exponents.

This is represented as :

(x^a)*(x^b)=(x^{a+b)}

This property is true in that ;

where you have x³ × x³ , x³ is x*x*x and the other x³ is x*x*x .Adding the xs will give x⁶ which is similar to 3+3=6 xs

A numerical example could be;

x^2+x^3=x^{2+3} =x^5

The volume of a cubic shaped water tank is 42875 m 3 , then the height of the water tank is ________m
Andrei [34K]

Answer:

The height of this cube-shaped water tank is 35 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the volume of a cube of side length s is V = s^3.

Here V = s^3 = 42,875 m^3.

Taking the cube root of both sides, we obtain the side length, s:

s = ∛(42,875 m^3) = 35 m

The height of this cube-shaped water tank is 35 m.
