If 4.0 mol of NO and 4.0 mol of O2 are combined, how many moles
Masja [62]
4.0

i think it has something to do with molar ratios and finding the limiting reactant

4.0 mol NO * 2 mol NO2/2 mol NO = 4.0 moles of NO2

4.0 mol O2 * 2 mol NO2/1 mol O2 = 8.0 moles of NO2

so the limiting reactant (the reactant that runs out the quickest leaving an excess) is NO

once the limiting reactant is found, we can use that data for that substance to calculate the amount of product

4.0 mol NO * 2 mol NO2/2 mole NO = 4.0 moles of NO2

How many neutrons Are there in an atom of hydrogen -3
Ivanshal [37]

Answer: 0 neutrons

Explanation:

to find neutrons you subtract the atomic number from the Atomic mass. The atomic mass is 1. The atomic number is 1. So 1-1=0 making the neutrons in a hydrogen molecule 0.

What are the conjugate acid-base pairs in the following chemical reaction? HBr(aq)+ CH3COOH(aq) ⇌ CH3C(OH)2+(aq) + Br-(aq)
agasfer [191]

Answer:

HBr, CH3C(OH)2 and CH3COOH, Br-

Explanation:

The conjugate acid-base pairs acid reacts with base to form a conjugate acid and conjugate base.

Conjugate acid is formed when a bases receives a proton  (H+) and a conjugate base is formed when an acid losses a proton (H+).

From the given equation:

HBr, CH3C(OH)2 and CH3COOH, Br- are conjugate acid-base pair, where HBr is an acid and CH3C(OH)2 is a conjugate acid while CH3COOH and Br- is the conjugate base.

A plastic wading pool has a circumference of 12.56 feet. Which procedure will help you
RoseWind [281]

The diameter of  the pool is 4

Explanation:

To calculate the diameter we must write the values given in the question, here

The circumference of the pool is given as C=12.56 feet.

To calculate the diameter of the pool,

If radius is given, Multiply the radius by 2

If Circumference is given divide the circumference by Pi (π)

the constant value for  Pi (π)=3.14

Diameter(D)= C/π

12.56/3.14

=4

The diameter for the plastic wading pool is 4
