Answer:

Conduction and convection requires Modes of transfer of heat ! Radiation doesn't require any medium !!

In terms of heat transfer, radiation is the emission of thermal energy in the form of infrared waves. ... Since heat is carried by electromagnetic waves, it does not need a physical medium to transfer it. Instead it radiates through space - this is how the Earth is heated by the Sun despite space being a vacuum

Which example best demonstrates how unbalanced forces change the speed of an object's motion?
exis [7]

I don’t see a picture but unbalanced forces could be two boys pushing with a combined force of 400 Newton’s but the surface of what the box is laying on being 600 meaning since the ground is creating a higher force in the form of friction it will slow the boys down. When forces are unbalanced it means that the object can not be still or moving at a constant speed  when one force is greater by a significant amount the object either slows quickly or accelerates fast depending on which factor is greater.

a transformer has 1,400 turns in the primary coil and 100 turns in the secondary coil. if the primary coil is connected to a 120
harkovskaia [24]

0.56 A is the current of the secondary coil.

transformer is the device that transfer electric energy from one AC circuit to another.

we know that ;

I ∝ 1/n;

where I IS CURRENT and n is NUMBER OF TURNS.

(I) secondary = X A

(n) secondary = 100

(I)  primary  = 0.04 A

(n)  primary  = 1400

USING THIS-----> I ∝ 1/n;

=>

0.04 A/X A =100/1400

=>X=0.56 A

as the current in the transformer is inversely proportional to the number of turns so 0.56 A is the current in the secondary coil.

What happened to a apple's weigh as the plane rose up toward the sky?
uysha [10]

Okay, I don't know if this question is supposed to be a trick question or not. The weight of the apple does not change as the plane travels up the atmosphere, but the MASS changes. Weight doesn't change no matter what environment you're in, but the mass changes in different environments. In this case, the weight is constant but the mass is decreasing as you go higher up.
