Answer:

Please find the answer in the explanation.

Explanation:

To describe a situation in which you exert a force on something and it does not move, you need to Identify the action force and the reaction force, the relative size of the forces, and the objects they act on.

The magnitude of the static friction between the object and the ground is larger than the magnitude of the force applied.

The object will not move if the magnitude of the static friction is greater than the magnitude of the force applied.

The action force is the force applied while the reaction force is equal to the frictional force between the object and the ground.

Why are you unable to observe the wavelike motion of a soccer ball as it is kicked toward a goal?
aalyn [17]
We all know that a soccer ball is composed of matter, and matter is made up of particles of atoms such as protons and electrons, and matter of  soccer ball can also be made up of waves of electrons and protons. This is now in a realm of quantum mechanics were everything defies our logic and common sense. Atoms can be defined as particle and also as a wave, they called it particle wave duality, it means atoms behave as wave and a particle. This is the trickiest part, Imagine that you are not observing the flight of the soccer ball, it actually behave as a wave as it moves in its trajectory, but at the moment that you are going to observe the flight of the soccer ball, it will behave as a particle as you see on its trajectory, becoming a ball or a particle, and that is the weird of part of quantum mechanics, the world of subatomic particles defies all common sense or logic. Remember that we will never see the wave like motion of any particle, because nature always plays a trick on our mind or senses.

GREAT QUESTION! Cool subject to talk about :) Here goes nothing lol

2) Arapaho- North American Plains Indians living along the Platte and Arkansas Rivers.
3) Sam Bass- A desperado whose career inspired ballads.
4) Judge Roy Bean- a legendary frontier judge who ruled by one book and a six-shooter!
5) Colt .45 six-shot revolver invented by Samuel Colt and used throughout the West... extremely popular among cowboys and outlaws alike.
6) Last but definetily not last, "Billy the Kid" (William H. Bonney, 1859-1881) Brooklyn-born gunman of the Wild West. Legendary Outlaw.
There are plenty more facts to talk about but in the interest of time this all I can provide for now. Hope it helps and have a nice day/night :)

An alpheid shrimp digs and maintains a deep burrow. While underground, the shrimp is safe. Above ground, it is vulnerable to pre
bekas [8.4K]

Answer:

ase of convenience, since the beneficiary by having a burrow and the shrimp benefits from knowing that there are predators nearby.

Explanation:

This exercise asks to study the dependence between two animals, the shrimp and the puffer fish.

Two types of dependency are defined:

* Complete. What is when one animal lives off the other

* Convenience if one animal does not live on the other

In this case, both the shrimp and the predator do not live on each other, since they feed independently.

So it is a case of convenience, since the beneficiary by having a burrow and the shrimp benefits from knowing that there are predators nearby.

The correct answer is: the balloon benefits by getting a burrow to live in and the shrimp knows when predators are nearby.

Find the distance traveled in one back-and-forth swing by the weight of a 12 in. Pendulum that swings through a 75 degree angle.
tia_tia [17]

The distance traveled by pendulum, in one back-and-forth swing is 75.75 inches.

The period of pendulum can be calculated by

T = 2\pi \sqrt {\dfrac Lg}

Where,

T - period

L - length = 12 inches

g- gravitational acceleration  = \bold {9.8\rm \ m/s^2}

Put the values,

T = 2\pi \sqrt {\dfrac {12}{9.8}}\\\\T = 2 \times 3.14 \times \sqrt {0.122}\\\\T = 2.191

Now, the angular displacement of the pendulum can be calculated by,

\theta = A\times\rm \  cos(\omega T)

Where,

A- amplitude

\theta - angle  = 75^o

\omega - angular displacement = 2\pi/T = 2.866 m

Put the values and calculate for \omega,

75 = A\times{\rm \  cos}(2.866\times 2.191)\\\\75 =A \times cos\ 6.26\\\\A =\dfrac {75}{0.99}\\\\A = 75.75 \rm \ inches

Therefore, the distance traveled by pendulum, in one back-and-forth swing is 75.75 inches.
