Overpopulation will result in less food, water, and shelter for all species in the web. if overpopulation is happening higher on the food web, all of their food sources connected to them will begin to lessen, endangering the sources and other competitors who eat the similar things.
This law states that whenever energy is transformed, some of it must be degraded into a less useful form and this explains why energy is never 100% efficient. <3
