The shoulder joint which known as glenohumeral joint and one of the mobile joints found in the body of human. it can be described as a ball and socket joint that exist between the
scapula and humerus. This joint is the major joint that connects the upper limb and the trunk. It gives enablement for the rotation of the arm in circular fashion.
It should be noted that the shoulder joint is the most frequently dislocated joint of the body as it provides an excellent demonstration of the principle that stability must be sacrificed to obtain mobility.
