Answer:

Explanation:

infrared waves and ultra violet (UV) waves

infrared is a light that we can feel as heat. it's just below the red spectrum that we can see with our eyes. We tend to think of infrared as a red light but it's really not in our red spectrum of vision, it's below that, or the wave lengths are longer than red light is .

Ultra violet (UV) is much higher energy. we don't "feel" that but it's much more powerful than infrared. it's above the blue/ purple spectrum that our eyes can see or the wave lengths is shorter than what we can see in the highest visible spectrum that we can see. Because the wave lengths are shorter there is much more energy in the wave. It's destructive to us, even, and why we put on UV block, sun screen. :P

according to newton's third law, of a sledgehammer hits a wall with a force of 1000 n, how much force does the wall hit the sled
astra-53 [7]

The correct option is A: the force exerted on the wall by the sledgehammer is - 1000 N

Newton's third law

Newton's third law of motion states that for every action or force, there is an equal but oppositely directed force.

Application of the newton's third law

Force with which the sledgehammer hits the wall = 1000 N

 • From the Newton's third law, an equal but oppositely directed force is exerted on the sledgehammer by the wall.

Thus, the force exerted by the sledgehammer on the wall = -1000 N

 • The negative sign indicates that the force acts in a direction opposite to that of the sledgehammer.

Thus, the correct option is A: the force exerted on the wall by the sledgehammer is - 1000 N

HURRY!!!!! Which change of state is shown into the model?
nadezda [96]

Option (B) is correct. The process shown in the model is the process of DEPOSITION.

Explanation:

The first container shows the molecules of the substance present inside it at a fairly large distance from one another whereas the second container, the molecules of the substance are very close to each other.

This shows that the substance in the first container is gaseous in nature whereas the substance in the second container is solid in nature as its molecules are closely packed.

Therefore, it shows the phase transition of a substance from gaseous sate to the solid state. The process of conversion of a gas directly into a solid is termed as deposition. This process is the opposite of the Sublimation in which the solid gets directly converted into a gas. Thus, the process is also termed as desublimation.

Thus, Option (B) is correct. The process shown in the model is the process of DEPOSITION.
