That is not meant to be red, it‘s the bottom of the beaker. The star is at the very bottom of the beaker. it’s just the base of the beaker.

Baseball scouts often use a radar gun to measure the speed of a pitch. One particular model of radar gun emits a microwave signa
Firdavs [7]

Since the Units presented are not in the International System we will proceed to convert them. We know that,

1 mi/h = 0.447 m/s

So the speed in SI would be

V=95mi/h(\frac{0.447m/s}{1mi/h})

V=42.465 m/s

The change in frequency when the wave is reflected is

f'=f(1+\frac{V}{c})

Or we can rearrange the equation as

f' = f + f\frac{V}{c}

f' = Apparent frequency

f = Original Frequency

c = Speed of light

f'-f = f\frac{V}{c}

\Delta f = f\frac{V}{c}

Replacing,

\Delta f = (10.525*10^9)(\frac{42.465}{3*10^8})

\Delta f =1489.8 Hz

Since the waves are reflected, hence the change in frequency at the gun is equal to twice the change in frequency

\Delta f_T = 2 \Delta f

\Delta f_T = 2(1489.8Hz)

\Delta f_T = 2979.63Hz

Therefore the increase in frequency is 2979.63Hz

I have no clue on how to do this
KatRina [158]

a)5m/s b)5

the 5 is because you add the seconds to get 8 seconds and then do the same with the distance to get 40. 40/8 = 5. speed = 5

Velocity = displacement/change in time

V = 40/8

I just realized how unorganised my math looks but I hope this is helpfull

A 9-inch tall sunflower is planted in a garden and the height of the sunflower increases exponentially. 5 days after being plant
stira [4]

Answer:

a)  h / h₀ = 1,682

, b) h / h₀ = 1.11

, c)    h / h₀ = 2.07

Explanation:

For this exercise let's look for the growth equation, as they indicate that it is exponential

        h = h₀ e^{\alpha t}

The initial height is 9 ”, so the constant

         h₀ = 9”

Let's use the given values

       h = 15.1655”

       t = 5 days

       h / h₀ = e^{\alpha t}

      α = 1 / t ln h / h₀

       α = 1/5 ln (15.1655 / 9)

      α = 0.104

       h = 9 e^{0.104 t}

a) the growth factor is the relationship between the initial value and the current value

        h / h₀ = e^{0.104  5}

        h / h₀ = 1,682

b) for t = 1 day

       h / h₀ = e^{0.104 1}

       h / h₀ = 1.11

c) for t = 7 days

       h / h₀ = e^{0.104 7}

       h / h₀ = 2.07
