Which of these statements best describes the impact of ocean thermal power and current power on the environment?
zzz [600]

Answer:

A. Current power may decrease the fish population.

Explanation:

The statement that best describes the impact of ocean thermal power and current power on the environment is that current power may decrease the fish population.

The environment is made up of living and non-living components that co-exist and interact with one another.

 • Harnessing current power from ocean movement will seriously affect the fish population.
 • Most fishes are not sedentary. They move and glide through the water.
 • When current power causes a change in the environment of the fish.
 • This will definitely affect the normal condition prevalent in the body of water.

The speed of an object is given by v = 5.00t^2 + 4.00t where v is in m/s and t is in s. What is the acceleration of the object a
nexus9112 [7]
The speed is
v = 5t² + 4t
where
v is in m/s, and t in s.

The acceleration is the derivative of the velocity. It is
a = 10t + 4

When t = 2 s, the acceleration is
a(2) = 10*2 +4 = 24 m/s²

Answer: 24 m/s²

______ is an offer to repair or replace a product if there is a problem with the product?
ANTONII [103]
A warranty is an offer to repair or replace a product if there is a problem with the product. Warranties are written guarantee issued to the consumer by the manufacturer at the time of purchase, promising to repair or replace a faulty material. It is usually based on the premise that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. It claims that the manufacturer constructed the product out of proper materials, and would compensate the consumer should there be any defects. The period to file a claim typically varies. Some manufacturers place a 90 day period, some a year and a few, even more.

\textsf {a) As there is no change in the initial and final positions, the displacement is}\\\textsf {equal to 0.}

b) Finding total distance :

Distance travelled from 0 s to 5 s :

 • 1/2 x 5 x 30 = 75 m

Distance travelled from 5 s to 10 s :

 • 5 x 30 = 150 m

Distance travelled from 10 s to 15 s :

 • 150 + 1/2 x 5 x 5
 • 150 + 12.5 = 162.5 m

Distance travelled from 15 s to 20 s :

 • 36 x 5 + 1/2 x 5 x 4
 • 180 + 10 = 190 m

Distance travelled from 20 s to 25 s :

 • 45 x 5 + 1/2 x 5 x 5
 • 225 + 12.5 = 237.5 m

Distance travelled from 25 s to 30 s :

 • 40 x 5 + 1/2 x 10 x 5
 • 200 + 25 = 225 m

Distance travelled from 30 s to 35 s :

 • 20 x 5 + 1/2 x 20 x 5
 • 100 + 50 = 150 m

Distance travelled from 35 s to 40 s :

 • 1/2 x 20 x 5
 • 50 m

Total = 75 + 150 + 162.5 + 190 + 237.5 + 225 + 150 + 50

Total = 1240 m

c) velocity at t = 15 s

 • 36/15
 • 12/5
 • 2.4 m/s

d) average velocity

 • 0 m/s (as displacement is equal to 0)

e) average speed

 • 1240/40
 • 31 m/s

f) Part d uses displacement whereas part e uses distance
