The tongue and the teeth works well to capture insects.
The mouths tongue is able to extend to stick to its prey, then drag it into the frog's mouth. From this point the frog's vomerine teeth trap the prey so that it cannot escape, and can then be eaten. By the frog adapting to capture it's prey efficiently, they are able to obtain food.

3. Why were germinating seeds used instead of dormant (non-<br> germinating) seeds?
disa [49]

Answer:

An important function of seed dormancy is delayed germination, which allows dispersal and prevents simultaneous germination of all seeds. ... Many species of plants have seeds that delay germination for many months or years, and some seeds can remain in the soil seed bank for more than 50 years before germination.

dsp73

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

Humans can be attacked by many microbes like bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites like flatworms, etc. These parasites and microbes cause different infections and diseases in humans.

This is true to most other species that they also face a similar array of parasite because every species represents a source which can be exploited by an array of parasites. Each parasite attacks on specific organs or tissue which allow different parasite to attack different organs. Therefore it is reasonable.
