Answer:

Measure of CD = 17 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of a polygon = Sum of measures of all sides of the polygon

Perimeter of the given rectangle = 2(length + width)

                                                       = 2[(x + 3) + (2x - 1)]

                                                       = 2(3x + 2) units

Perimeter of triangle EFG = EF + FG + GE

                                           = (x - 7) + (4x - 8) + (3x + 1)

                                           = (8x - 14)

                                           = 2(4x - 7) units

Since, perimeters of both the figures are equal,

2(3x + 2) = 2(4x - 7)

3x + 2 = 4x - 7

4x - 3x = 7 + 2

x = 9

Measure of CD = (2x - 1)

                         = 2(9) - 1

                         = 17 units

The algebraic form of a sequence is 4n+1. write the sequence
diamong [38]

Answer:

5, 9, 13, 17, 21, .....

Step-by-step explanation:

To generate the sequence, substitute n = 1, 2, 3, 4, ..... into the rule

a₁ = 4(1) + 1 = 4 + 1 = 5

a₂ = 4(2) + 1 = 8 + 1 = 9

a₃ = 4(3) + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13

a₄ = 4(4) + 1 = 16 + 1 = 17

a₅ = 4(5) + 1 = 20 + 1 = 21

I really need help please <33
Anvisha [2.4K]

Tonya's homework assignment has four problems a, b, c, d. Her teacher instructed her to simplify each expression and then find out its value. The value of a is 3/28, the value of b is 1/2, the value of c is 15/56 and the value of d is 1/15.

Each problem has two fractions. They are given below and should be simplified.

a) 2/7 × 3/8 = 1/7 × 3/4 = 3/28

b) 2/3 × 3/4 = 1/1 × 1/2 = 1/2

c) 3/7 × 5/8 = 15/56

d) 3/10 × 2/9 = 1/5 × 1/3 = 1/15

Answer:

Linear Decreasing

Step-by-step explanation:

Exponential graphs are curved, but this line is straight, so it's linear. It's decreasing since the graph moves from left to right, and as you can see, the line starts from the left tall but gradually goes lower as it goes towards the right.

The expression below represents the number of trees planted by an environmental agency after t years.
Hatshy [7]
The initial number of trees is when t = 0:-
1500 * t^0  = 1500   so the answer is either a or c.
The value 1.02 represents a  2% increase  so the  answer is Option c.
