when graphed you can subtracted the highest y point (15) to the lowest y point (10) which equals 10, from there you subtract the highest x point (5) from the lowest x point (3) and get 2, however since x is going down this makes it a negative making the 2 into -2, from there you divide -2/10 and get -1/5
