natulia [17]

A two (2) year old boy that is highly motivated and focused on learning how to ride his bicycle.

Erikson's psychosocial stages of development.

Erik Erikson stated in his work on psychosocial development that human personality typically develops in a pre-determined order known as the eight (8) stages of psychosocial development, from infancy to adulthood.

The eight stages of psychosocial development.

According to Erikson, the eight (8) stages of psychosocial development, from infancy to adulthood include the following:

 1. Trust versus Mistrust.
 2. Autonomy versus Shame and doubt.
 3. Initiative versus Guilt.
 4. Industry versus Inferiority.
 5. Identity versus Confusion.
 6. Intimacy versus Isolation.
 7. Generativity versus Stagnation.
 8. Integrity versus Despair.

The will stage of psychosocial development generally occurs between the ages of 1 year (18 months) to approximately 3 years. For example, a two (2) year old boy that is highly motivated and focused on learning how to ride his bicycle while developing a sense of personal control to be successful at it.

lawyer [7]
A little bit more than three... pick and choose!
Each kidney has about 1,000,000 filtering units, called nephrons.
Roughly 40 gallons of blood in women and 48 gallons of blood in men are filtered each day.
The colour of your urine can reflect if you are drinking enough water; it is usually light yellow if you are drinking enough water and dark yellow if you are not.
For someone with kidney failure, it typically takes 4 hours of dialysis, 3 times a week to perform the filtering duties of normal kidneys.

What are three changes you can make in your daily food and exercise habits to help reduce the chances of being overweight/obese
natta225 [31]

Obesity is a physical condition where the BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is over 30%. There are few factors that contribute to obesity, such an over average daily calories intake, the lack of physical exercise and in general the lack of healthy habits in the current lifestyle.

In order to reduce obesity, it is necessary to learn what kinds of foods are good for our body and what are not: there are guidelines from different association, such as the American Society for Nutrition, that indicates that is possible to reduce obesity is possible if people are going to start eating healthy and exercise regularly.

Eating healthy means that there should be plenty of vegetables and fruits incorporate into the diet, where other foods such as red and processed meat should be consumed in small quantity or not at all. Drink plenty of water is another suggestion that is possible to give.

As a young person, I think it is time to take responsibility and starting a more healthy lifestyle, in order to live just as our parents if not more. On the other side, there is the fact that eating unhealthy is sometimes cheaper and easier, while perhaps the school system should encourage and teach us that it is possible to feed ourselves in a way that is going to make us live longer and be healthier.
