Answer:

The maximum value of the magnetic field in the wave is 7.79\times10^{-8}\ T.

Explanation:

Given that,

Average value of pointing vector = 0.724 W/m²

We need to calculate the magnetic field

Using formula of pointing vector

S=\dfrac{1}{\mu_{0}}(E\times B)

The average value of pointing vector

S=\dfrac{1}{2\mu_{0}}\times E_{0}B_{0}....(I)

We know that,

E_{0}=cB_{0}

Put the value of E_{0} in equation (II)

S=\dfrac{1}{2\mu_{0}}\times c(B_{0})^2

substitute the value in the formula

0.724=\dfrac{1}{2\times4\pi\times10^{-7}}\times3\times10^{8}\times (B_{0})^2B_{0}=\sqrt{\dfrac{0.724\times2\times4\pi\times10^{-7}}{3\times10^{8}}}B_{0}=7.79\times10^{-8}\ T

The maximum value of the magnetic field in the wave is 7.79\times10^{-8}\ T.

An electric field of magnitude 2.35 V/m is oriented at an angle of 25.0° with respect to the positive z-direction. Determine the
zzz [600]

Answer:

The magnitude of the electric flux is 3.53\ N-m^2/C

Explanation:

Given that,

Electric field = 2.35 V/m

Angle = 25.0°

Area A= 1.65 m^2

We need to calculate the flux

Using formula of the magnetic flux

\phi=E\cdot A

\phi = EA\cos\theta

Where,

A = area

E = electric field

Put the value into the formula

\phi=2.35\times1.65\times\cos 25^{\circ}

\phi=2.35\times1.65\times0.91

\phi=3.53\ N-m^2/C

Hence, The magnitude of the electric flux is 3.53\ N-m^2/C

Write a list of at least five scientific methods.
kolbaska11 [484]
1- You should always have a question for your experiment.
2- You need to conduct background research. It helps to write down your sources so you can cite your references.
3- Propose a hypothesis (educated guess on what you believe the outcome of the experiment will be)
4- Design and perform an experiment to test your hypothesis (include independent and dependent variable)
5- Record observations and analyze what the data means.
6- Conclude whether you need to accept or reject your hypothesis, which accepting means your hypothesis was right and rejected is if it was wrong.

How do you think electricity was discovered
sasho [114]
Italian physicist Alessandro Volta discovered that particular chemical reactions could produce electricity, and in 1800 he constructed the voltaic pile (an early electric battery) that produced a steady electric current, and so he was the first person to create a steady flow of electrical charge.

Describe the difference between contact forces and field forces.
Salsk061 [2.6K]
Contact forces has to be touching for it to be an actual force. A field force does not have to be touching but it does have to be acting on particles at different positions in a space.
