Deforestation also affects billions more people around the world indirectly, through its impact on climate change, water and nutrient cycling and food availability. The world’s benefit from conservation far outweighs the costs to the owner, such as the profit they lose by not logging. It would thus make sense for the wealthier North to simply pay the tropical countries in the South to conserve and protect their forests.

- Riego y/o precipitaciones: tener en cuenta las necesidades hídricas de las plantas que queremos producir.

- Suelo: utilizar tierra abonada suele ser la mejor opción para brindarle a las plantas la mayor cantidad de nutrientes y así garantizar un óptimo crecimiento. En el caso de usar macetas, la presencia de huecos o el uso de vermiculita puede ser de gran ayuda para permitir la escorrentia del agua.

- Espacio: es necesario tener en cuenta el espaciado entre plantas para que puedan crecer normalmente.

-Tener en cuenta las plagas (insectos, nemátodos, etc) que podrían afectar el crecimiento de las plantas.
