So because it was $5 off, and she paid 80% of the original price, that would mean it would have been 20% off. That means 20% = $5. Multiply that by 5 to get to 100% and you find that the shirt is $25 originally. Then you can either multiply that 20% = $5 by 4 to get 80%, or just subtract $5 from the full price. That means Selina paid $20 for the shirt.

A campground owner has 24002400 m of fencing. he wants to enclose a rectangular field bordering a river, with no fencing along
Free_Kalibri [48]
We define variables:
 x = represent the width of the field
 y = represent the length of the field
 We write the perimeter (with no fencing along the river):
 2400 = 2x + y
 We clear y:
 y = 2400-2x
 Answer:

an expression for the length of the field as a function of x is:

y = 2400-2x

200m - 100m + 48,250 = 50,250 – 150m
drek231 [11]

200m - 100m + 48,250 = 50,250 - 150m

(Add or subtract common variables)

100m + 48,250 = 50,250 - 150m

(Add 150m to both sides)

250m + 48,250 = 50,250

(Subtract 48,250 to both sides)

250m = 2000

(Divide 250 to both sides to isolate m)

m = 8
