Both David Hume and Milarepa believe that a "self" does not exist.Hume claims that we have no evidence of the self is because we humans are constantly evolving and changing. Due to this there is no stable or specific self. Hume thus believed the self is merely an illusion. This align's with Milarepa’s on this subject, who also believed that there is no such thing as the self.

Galina-37 [17]

Answer: A) Paternalism

Explanation:

This phenomenon is the effort of a group, organization, and political structures to abolish certain human freedoms under the pretext that it is the best decision at a certain moment. Paternalism is also evident in the relationship between parents and children, so we often witness how parents forbid certain things to children because they think they are bad. If they do not have to be, they are often the product of subjective observations. Many experts consider Paternalism a negative phenomenon because the hesitation of freedoms must never be the solution.

Two ways Native American tribes were different from one another
erik [133]

Answer:

The people who were native to North America were not a single group, however, and various groups, or tribes, had specific ways of life and generally inhabited specific areas. The largest Native American tribe, the Cherokee, lived in the Southeast. Other tribes included the Seminole in Florida and the Chickasaw. These tribes tended to stay in one place and were skilled farmers. Native Americans each lived in separate tribes all over america. They each had a different culture, for example religion, naming, traditions, etc.

(Q005) You're traveling with a group in a foreign country. After a homestay with a local family, a member of your group remarks
Anvisha [2.4K]

Answer:

Ethnocentrism

Explanation:

Ethnocentrism is the tendency to evaluate other groups according to the values and standards of one's own ethnic group, especially with the conviction that one's own ethnic group is superior to the other groups. That member of the group is being Ethnocentric by judging the food that's eaten in a foreign land he was in as horrifying just because they don't eat such from where he came from.
