Answer: A

Step-by-step explanation: 3(x-1) becomes 3x -3 ≤ 4x. Put all like variables on the same side, meaning you'll subtract 3x from both sides giving you -3 ≤ x. You can flip the equation around to make it look exactly like x ≥ -3

If a crew of 4 workers complete the job in 10 hours, how long will it take 5 workers to complete the same job?
Ulleksa [173]
We can solve using proportions
\frac{4}{10}  =  \frac{5}{x}
or 4 works is to 10 hours as 5 workers is to x hours.
to solve we cross multiply to get
4x = 50 \\ x =  \frac{50}{4}
so it will take 5 men 12.5 hours!

Eric worked 13 hours last week at the library and earned $91.00. If he continues at the same hourly pay, how many more hours mus
skelet666 [1.2K]

19 hours

Calculate his hourly rate by dividing $91 by 13

hourly rate = \frac{91}{13} = $7

Now divide $133 by 7 to find number of hours he has to work

\frac{133}{7} = 19 hours
