Answer:

Totipotential.

Explanation:

There are different cell potencies. A totipotent cell is a stem cell that can divide itself and differentiate in any cell that the organism needs. That is to say, endodermal cells, ectodermal cells, mesodermal cells, or extra-embryonic tissues. As cells differentiate themselves, they can gradually lose their potential. The cell's category that follows is pluripotent cells. These are stem cells that can only differentiate into ectoderm cells, endoderm cells, or mesoderm cells. Then we have multipotent cells, which differentiate into tissue cells. The next category is oligopotent cells. They give a limited number of specific cells, and lastly unipotent cells, only differentiate in one type of cell.

Which of the following accurately describes carbon atoms? A. Carbon atoms are only found in two of the four main macromolecules.
makkiz [27]
The answer is B. Carbon atoms can bond to other carbon atoms. In fact, carbon has four electrons to form four bonds with other atoms, including carbon. Carbon is the most common and used element in the world because it makes up all living things. All four main macromolecules also contain carbon.

Svetach [21]

Answer:

The type of food Bob is given.

Explanation:

An independent variable in an experiment is the variable that is changed. Here, the type of food is the only thing that is changed and the amount of water, temperature and other variables were kept constant (same). Thus, the independent variable is the type of food Bob is given.

dalvyx [7]

Point mutation.

Explanation:

 • The protein will be unchanged.

Mutation is defined as a change in nucleotide sequence of a gene. When a single nucleotide is inserted, deleted or substituted in a DNA sequence, then the resulting mutation is classified as point mutation.

A gene contains two region- intron region and exon region.

The region that codes for a particular protein is called the exon and the region that separates two exons and does not code for any protein is called the intron.

Most of the point mutations in the intron region are silent except if it is located at the splice site recognition sequence.

In the given situation the mutation is in the middle of the intron region so there is no chance of it being a splice site recognition sequence. Hence the protein will remain unchanged.

Which process of the water cycle occurs when water absorbs 2260 Joules of heat energy per gram?
Korolek [52]
Evaporation occurs when water absorbs 2260 Joules of heat energy per gram. It is process by which water changes from a liquid to a gas or vapor. It takes energy for the molecules to break those bonds (to overcome the bonding forces). This energy is the latent heat of vaporization.

Water requires the addition of 2260 Joules of heat energy for every gram of water that evaporates (vaporizes). The heat energy that is required to change water into vapor is called the latent heat of vaporization.
