Roads are the arteries through which the economy pulses. By linking producers to markets, workers to jobs, students to school, and the sick to hospitals, roads are vital to any development agenda. Since 2002, the World Bank has constructed or rehabilitated more than 260,000 km of roads.

intersecting domains of oppression that create a social space of domination and, by extension, a unique position within that spa
Dominik [7]

Answer:

It takes into account people's overlapping identities and experiences to understand the complexity of the prejudices they face.

In other words, the affirmative intersectional theory that people are often disadvantaged by multiple sources of oppression: their race, class, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, and other markers of identity. Intersectionality recognizes that identity markers (eg, "feminine" and "black") do not exist identified by each other, and each of the information to the others, often creating a complex convergence of oppression.

Explanation:

Today, intersectionality is considered crucial for social equity work. Activists and community organizations are asking for and participating in more dynamic conversations about differences in experience between people with different overlapping identities. Without an intersectional lens, events and movements that aim to address injustice toward one group can end up perpetuating systems of inequities towards other groups. Intersectionality fully informs YW Boston's work, by encouraging nuanced conversations about inequality in Boston. It illuminates us about health disparities among women of color, provides avenues for our youth leaders to understand identity, and is crucial to the advocacy work we support.

What was a main idea behind the American Revolutionary War?
lord [1]

Answer:

Multiple causes took place that eventually caused many colonists to go against Great Britain.

Explanation:

By 1774, the year leading up to the Revolutionary War, there were many causes that continued to pile up. Parliament had been passing laws placing taxes on the colonists in America. There had been the Sugar Act in 1764, the Stamp Act the following year, and a variety of other laws that were meant to get money from the colonists for Great Britain. The colonists didn't like these laws.

Great Britain was passing these laws because of the French and Indian War, which had ended in 1763. That war, which had been fought in North America, left Great Britain with a huge debt that had to be paid. Parliament said it had fought the long and costly war to protect its American subjects from the powerful French in Canada. Parliament said it was right to tax the American colonists to help pay the bills for the war.

Most colonists disagreed. Parliament was elected by people living in England, and the colonists felt that lawmakers living in England could not understand the colonists' needs. The colonists felt that since they did not take part in voting for members of Parliament in England they were not represented in Parliament. So Parliament did not have the right to take their money by imposing taxes. "No taxation without representation" became the American rallying cry.
