100,004 ÷ 10<br> can you give me a proper remander
V125BC [204]

Sure.
You don't even need to bother with the division.

100,000 is a multiple of 10 .

If you add 4 more to it, that won't be enough to make another 10 .
So if somebody comes along, sees the 100,004 lying there, and
divides it by 10, the  4  will be a remainder.

777dan777 [17]

we are given

f(x)=30(1.03)^{3x}

we can see that 3 is not present in the options on exponent

so, we will try to get rid of exponent 3

we can write it as

f(x)=30((1.03)^{3})^{x}

now, we know that

(1.03)^{3}=1.092727

so, we can plug it

and we get

f(x)=30(1.092727)^{x}

How do I even start this? And how to i order the equation to solve
Kobotan [32]

f(g(h(x)))=f(g(\sqrt x))=f(\sqrt x-1)=\boxed{(\sqrt x-1)^4+4}

This is because

h(x)=\sqrt x

g(x)=x-1

\implies g(h(x))=\sqrt x-1

(that is, replace any instance of <em>x</em> in the definition of <em>g</em> with √<em>x</em> )

and

f(x)=x^4+4

\implies f(\sqrt x-1)=(\sqrt x-1)^4+4

(replace any <em>x</em> in <em>f</em> with √<em>x</em> - 1)

Also acceptable:

(\sqrt x-1)^4+4=((\sqrt x)^4-4(\sqrt x)^3+6(\sqrt x)^2-4\sqrt x+1)+4

=\boxed{x^2-4x\sqrt x+6x-4\sqrt x+5}

(assuming <em>x</em> is not negative)

Jackie can type 230 words in 4 minutes. Howard can type 296 words in 5 minu
inna [77]

Answer:

A

B

D

Step-by-step explanation:

A 230 divided by 4 is 57.5 which makes A a true statement.

B 296 divided by 5 is 59.2 which makes B a true statement .

D 296 - 230 =66

66 - 57.5 = 8.5

Which makes D a true statement by a margin of 8.5 words.
