In a video game, Agnes scored 20% fewer than Amy. Amy scored 860
vovangra [49]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf Agnes\ Score = 688\ points}

Step-by-step explanation:

\sf = 20 \% \ of \ 860 \\\\= \frac{20}{100} * 860\\\\= 2 * 86\\\\= 172 \ points

Since, Agnes scored 20 % fever than Amy.

So,

Agnes Score = Amy's Points - 20 % of Amy's Points

Agnes Score = 860 - 172

Agnes Score = 688 points

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!

Evaluate A2 for A = -4
vekshin1
Hello there!

Evaluate a²  for a = -4

The first step we need to do is replace a by -4

So we have (-4)²

Now what you have realize is that we need to multiply -4 by itself twice.

So it should looks like this:

-4 * -4

The rules says that when we have minus * minus, the answer is positive.

So we have -4 * -4 = 16

Answer: 16

I hope this helps!
