Answer:

0.096

Step-by-step explanation:

The bag contains 10 white , 12 blue, 13 red , 7 yellow and 8 green balls.

All the events of drawing a ball will be independent

so selecting one ball white and one red will be

using the multiplication rule of probability we get

P= P(blue)* P(white) + P(white)*P(blue)

as its said to get one blue and one white but does not specify to get which ball at which place

P= \frac{12}{50}*\frac{10}{50} + \frac{10}{50}*\frac{12}{50}

P= \frac{240}{2500} = 0.096

It is given the probability that a dancer like ballet is 0.35

So, P(B) = 0.35

It is given the probability that a dancer like tap is 0.45

So, P(T)= 0.45

The probability that he likes both ballet and tap is 0.30

So, P(B\cap T)=0.30

the probability that the dancer likes ballet if we know she likes tap. This is the case of conditional probability.

So, P(B/T)=\frac{P(B\cap T)}{P(T)}

P(B/T)=\frac{0.30}{0.45}

= 0.666

= 0.67

Therefore, the probability that the dancer likes ballet if we know she likes tap is 0.67.

raven plans to increase the price of each item in her store up 10%. which of the following sets of step could raven use to find
user100 [1]
To get the price of the new item after an increase of 10% you would have to find 10% of whatever the price is and add it to the original price so for example say the price is $300 you would do 300*0.10(0.10 is 10%) which is 30 and add that to 300 so the new price would be $330

Troyanec [42]
9a-5x

step by step explanation:

you can only add and subtract numbers that have the same variables.

12a and 3a are related because there variable is both a.

when u subtract 12a-3a you get the answer of 9a using subtraction.

7x and -2x are the second pair of related terms because they also have the same variable (x)

7x-2x is 5x using subtraction.

put the expression together:

9a-5x

hope this helps!
